• If you can purchase the correct cartridge for this printer with the edible ink, it will work. However, you should use this printer exclusively for edible products. I used to have a Canon for edible photographic cake tops. It worked very well. But it has been years since I've done anything like that. If you can get the edible ink in the Canon 250 cartridge it should work.
