- Answer No Pano feature that I see on my new 620 but has others fun modes like toy train and vivid that are fun to use plus many more. The zoom is excellent and perfect for pocket or small purse while traveling. Nice go to camera if you do not want to take a heavier DSL. Takes excellent images even in Auto and long battery life. Found that some stores do not have battery to be used as backup that will work and display an error note when inserted. Go directly to Canon for the one that will or try in store before you leave to save time.

- Answer For the Canon "genuine" 1250 mAh battery from full discharge it takes about 3 hours. CAUTION! There are other cheaper off-brands available mostly with HALF the mAh ratings so you take considerably fewer pictures with longer and more frequent charging.

- Answer The flash can be set to operate in AUTO but it will fire only when it is in the up position. You have to manually move a release button to allow the flash to pop up. Actually this can be an advantage in situations where flash photography is not allowed (museums, theaters, etc.) By keeping the flash secured within the camera body, you can be assured that you will not violate any NO-FLASH rules. I have another camera that resets its flash option after each shot so I have had the accidental flash firing when I did not want it.

- Answer Yes it can be used with USB cord. I have one that fits and works perfectly as connection to upload images to computer. It does not come with one in box.

- Answer At the highest resolution, the files are about 6MB. You can choose lower resolutions to get file size down, but I don't use those. If I need a smaller file, I generally export the size I need from my photo processing software. The Export feature should give you a choice of resolutions while allowing the best resolution for the original photo. I have been able to get file sizes less than 1MB this way with little effort

- Answer You have to turn the flash on. It will tell you that there is not enough light so you can turn the flash on

- Answer Wifi is only active when you are transferring pictures or video as far as I can tell, since you have to use buttons to activate the connection and initiate the transfer... so it should already be off by default.

- Answer Sim card yes, battery no. I found that an extra battery was hard to find in stores. I had to order from Amazon. The 620HS does come with a battery charger.
