Q: QuestionWith the Corsair Lighting Node CORE that this comes with will it allow you to control the fan speeds or just RGB and does it come with a special cable slitter or is it just compatible with the lighting node core

• A:Answer The lighting node core only does the lighting for up to 6 fans. The fans themselves are 3pin DC fans that plug into standard motherboards or other fan hubs. The RGB is a separate cable off the fan, so no splitting needed.

Q: QuestionWhat’s the difference between these and the “CORSAIR LL series 120mm case cooling fans w/ RGB lighting”?

• A:Answer Just the speed of the fans. These are slower by just a tad bit than the next expensive ones but faster than normal fans. I switched out my stock fans that came with my case for these and saw better temps in my system by a long shot!

Q: QuestionDoes anyone know if these work with the CORSAIR - Commander PRO Hardware Controller? From what I can read I don't think so but I wanted to ask just to make sure. I am not having good luck with Corsair products.

• A:Answer I have it hooked up to the commander pro that came with H150i AIO, works fine with one exception. The fans run at 1500 rpm and aren’t adjusted in iCue under performance. The AIO fans change RPM, but these don’t. Might try hooking up the supplied controller and see if they adjust rpm that way. Color works fine.

Q: Questioncan you connect other rgb fans to the lighting node core like a deepcool rgb fan,becose i am going to have a set off thise fans and an Deepcool GAMMAXX L120 V2 and my motherbord(MSI MPG B550 GAMING EDGE WIFI)only has 2 rgb conecters,do i need rgb spliter

Q: QuestionMy motherboard only has one 3-pin fan header. Is there any way I could connect 3-4 fans to all be powered up and run at the same time? All the multiple fan splitters I see are 4-pin splitters. I do have a 4-pin header for the CPU fan, could I use that?

• A:Answer I'll answer my own question now that I have all the components. I had to add a Commander Pro to power all the fans. The Commander Pro was easy to coordinate within the iCue software.

Q: QuestionHow do you control fan speed? I've no luck connecting them to my AIO's Commander Core, or mobo's fan headers. I mean, I can see them running at 1400+ rpm all the time. Can anyone please confirm if you were able to control fan speed with Commander Pro?

• A:Answer Nope , they are not speed control. I learned the hard way .. even though it does say they are .. they are only 3 wire not pwm 4 wire .. kinda false advertising if you ask me .
