Hi Bayoutrucker, Are you referring to 4-pin Molex instead of PWM? If you need assistance with your system, please feel free to reach out to our support team, we'd be happy to help: support.corsair.com -Brian
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Corsair's lighting node pro. It has 12 connections: 6 for rgb and 6 for power. This node plugs into your psu via a a sata plug (the longer one that goes to your hdd or cd/dvd drive.) You can then control the corsair fans using iCue software from Corsair.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m not sure if you’re referring to your old fans being plugged into a fan hub or onto your main board, however you should still be able to plug the 3 pin (Corsair) fans into the 4 pin hub/board slot (they’ll still fit). The 4 pin fan connection simply allows the board to control the fan speed. Since you’re using the Corsair fans with the iCUE controller (plugs into one of the USB controllers on your board), you can control fan speed via the iCUE software vs letting the board control the speed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the smaller 3 pin plugs will still plug into the same fan headers on your motherboard. you can still tune the speed by adjusting the voltage in the bios.
