had same Q for my pc is a laptop on a dock station... this is what I found, so far. I believe most Fn keys are driver dependent. If the driver of the keyboard and the driver of the graphics adapter don't interact with each other, this will not have any useful effect. The Fn key on an external keyboard can generally not perform the calls of the laptop keyboard because the Fn keys are hardware specific; they are not regular keyboard keys and can't be remapped.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't believe you can turn on FN lock.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.THe Microsoft Comfort Wireless Series (Both the RF and BT versions) have a tiny HARDWARE SWITCH right on top of the KeyBoard between the Enter Key and the NUM pad up/Blue is FN Keys and down/Red is Presets (MAil, Brower, Mute, etc.) MS also includes a well written software customization accessible Key assignment and extended functions (Macros) thru either the Mouse or Keyboard Properties menu.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This keyboard lacks that feature sadly, your best solution is to create a macro for whatever function you're trying to do.
