Yes - hold down display button until it gets into menu. Tap it repeatedly until you get to “bON” showing “silent” icon. Then press and hold display again where it will start flashing. You then keep pressing display until it shows “bOFF” and wait for it to time out. This turns the beep off. If successful you will hear two beeps, then it will return to the main display and show the silent icon.

Next, I pushed the grey button till I saw the speaker icon with an x on it the display will say on. I pushed the grey button then it says ESC then it says OFF. When it says OFF I held the button and the unit beeped then I let it sit and the display went back to the original setting and now has a speaker with an x on it and the beep is gone. It prob won't reset so you will have to enable it again in reverse order.

Please try again later.All the answers are substantially correct: - You can shut the alarm off to prevent it from sounding if power goes off through either the front panel or the desktop dashboard app, and/or - Once the power goes off causing the alarm to sound, you can silence it by turning it off - but of course it then does not give any power if needed. If you shutoff the alarm to prevent it from sounding, it would be a good idea to set up the app to shut down your computer rather than allowing it to run out of power and do a hard shut-down due to no power, like unplugging it while it is running. Shutting off the alarm may defeat the benefit of preventing a potentially damaging hard shut down if you're asleep when power goes down. At least you've got the options. Personally, I'd prefer to have it automatically shut down the computer in an orderly fashion when unattended,without sounding the alarm. After all, if you are present to shut it down yourself, then you'd probably notice the power has gone down without the alarm.
