“Can you froth (steam) milk while the coffee is brewing?”

• I just put your question to the test on my machine. The answer is YES! I started a pot of drip coffee, while that was going on, on the other side I made two of my large puck 3 hit espresso's, drip coffee still dripping, then I was able to froth milk while the drip coffee was still dripping. You can't froth and espresso at the same time, not very well anyway, the heating element on the left side of the machine can't really handle the demand. Recommendation, I froth the milk between the second and third hits of the top button to make my espresso. That way the espresso is hot and the milk is just right when the third hit finishes up.

• Not while the espresso is brewing, the pump can only run one or the other. You can make espresso or froth milk while the drip coffee is brewing though
