The Phantom 4 series drones are NOT water resistant. Do not fly them in the rain or expose them to excessive moisture.

As a responsable pilot you’re are obligue to revise the weather prior attempting any flight. Any reported incident involving a drone can be investigated by the FAA for operating your unmanned aerial system (UAS) and can result in serious fines (to $1,100 or more). The Return Home function can be use if you consider rain is imminent but in some cases is limited according to the Users Manual. If it catches some light rain, perform a pre flight check before getting it up in the air again. As you get more experience you will find that getting it back manually is faster and probably safer than doing it automatically.
