• I have 4 cats and it eats up the litter without any problems. Even gets the food crumbs around their bowls easily.

• This Animal 2 model exceeds all other vacuums , with 270 AW of suction power . It will easily handle any job including cat litter . However I would not use a vacuum to routinely clean cat litter . I would expect urine soaked litter to especially stink up the inside of a vacuum . I would use a dustpan and brush for cat litter first , then vacuum as necessary .

• I don't know about cats, but it is great for any of your dust problems. We bought one for each of our kids and they love using it too.
