Yes; you must engage or hold the trigger while vacuuming. But it seems natural in hand, light, and easy to maneuver with one hand and one motion. Does not seem to be an issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Chantell, this is Carissa with Dyson. We appreciate your interest in Dyson technology and we are pleased to clarify. Our cordless units have a run time enhancing trigger – meaning that you are only using energy when you really want to be cleaning, rather than leaving it running when you're moving furniture or moving from one room to the next. We hope this information proves useful. Best wishes, Carissa Dyson Customer Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you need to hold the button. But we have not found this to be a problem. This way it's not constantly running and using up the battery.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. But I don’t find it to be a pain. It feels natural to hold hold the handle where the button is.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you do have to hold trigger. Been using Dyson’s V8 and now V10 and I guess I have gotten used to that fact. You don’t really notice and it’s nice to cut it off at anytime to save battery.
