“Is the filter on the V-10 Animal lifetime as well; so regular correct maintenance will make it last? Or should you replace it on a yearly basis, etc. Thanks”

I have only owned my machine a short while, but as a retired mechanical engineer, appreciate the design and quality of the construction. I see no reason to not expect the filter to last several years, assuming of course, that reasonable care and regular maintenance is consistently adhered to.

The filter in your V10 should be washed once a month. With proper maintenance and care, it should not ever need to be replaced. Having said that, we do carry replacement filters if you wish to purchase one, so you always have a clean filter on hand. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They recommend that you clean the filter at least monthly and replace it every 6 months. My experience is that it clogs pretty easily, so will definitely need to plan on maintenance.
