Hello Bahu, this is Kelly with Dyson. We generally do not recommend to use a purifier and a humidifier in the same room; the water/mist from the humidifier can cause false air quality readings on your purifier. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

I operated my Dyson humidifier and was wondering why these units were going nuts overnight, indicating high particulate levels. I finally figured out the cool mist was the problem and have discontinued use. I really fault 'cool mist' overall as it is merely tiny droplets of water we hope will evaporate into actual vapor, but until such time, they are particles at least as the Dyson filter is concerned. Traditional steam humidifiers/vaporizers probably wouldn't upset this Dyson sensor to such degree.
