Many other ultrasonic humidifiers will expel minerals within the water and Dyson humidifier is no different. However, most competitors normally expel mist upwards in a vertical direction, which means that it is possible for the humidified air to fall and accumulate near to the machine. Ultraviolet Cleanse technology is designed to kill bacteria, mold and viruses, but it will not remove minerals from the water. However, the Dyson humidifier produces a very fine mist and then uses Air Multiplier technology to distribute it evenly across the whole room. This even distribution of mist means that it is less likely for the mineral dust to accumulate. You will not experience any white power/dust with your PH01 Pure Humidifier + Cool.
