I am very allergic to mold spores and dust. The minute this air purifier entered my house I saw a difference. The difference between this air purifyer and some other brand is that it catches the mold into its filter. As oppose to some others (I'm thinking about Breeva A5) which has UV-C rays that will "kill" the mold. I have both air purifyers and I am having my kitchen renovated completely. The Dyson detected VOC's but the Breeva 5 didn't although the smell of the glue used to install formica was terrible... Both were set on automatic... I was happy I had the Dyson TP07 (I provided the pictures that would show on the app. Usually it's in the green.)

Dyson Purifier Cool machines are great for their air quality reporting feature, in addition to their purification capabilities. Dyson Purifier Cool air purifiers combine intelligent sensing with an advanced filtration system. Two phases of purification sit within our fully sealed filtration and airflow system, which include an activated carbon filter to remove gases and odors and a HEPA filter which captures 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns in size. Dust and mold spores generally tend to be larger than this, at about PM5.0 - PM10, and essentially would be captured within the glass borosilicate fibers of the HEPA filter. It would be worth noting, however, while a Dyson purifier can be used to help capture spores from the air, your purifier would not be effective in removing mold, or odors, at the source. Best wishes, David Dyson Customer Support
