• Hello Ray, this is Kelly with Dyson. The PH04 model is a purifier+humidifier. The HP09 is a purifier and heater+fan. If you're looking for something to provide heat in the cooler months, the HP09 would be more effective for you. The PH04 cannot provide any heat. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

• The Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link HP04 air purifier is the 4th generation of the Dyson heater + cooling air purifier. As improvements over the HP02, the HP04 has upgraded filters, an increased degree of oscillation, and increased max airflow.
