It does not cool the air, it's a fan and a heater, does not provide the functions of an A/C
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. This machine barely cools the room at all. Do not buy this product, it is way overpriced and this machine has broken twice already. Return this product before you are stuck with an $800 fan that breaks easily and doesn't cool the room.

Air conditioning units and the Dyson HP09 Smart Tower Air Purifier fan are two very different products that work in very different ways. An air conditioner refrigerates the air it supplies, allowing the air in the room to be made cooler than the ambient temperature outside. The Dyson Air Multiplier™ technology cools a person by moving air over and around them. It's the air flow that from our blade-less fan that provides personal cooling effects. With that being said, you will not want to expect the ambient air in a room to drop in cooler temperatures when only using a fan. Thanks for your support of Dyson technology!
