There are many reports of this issue online where Dyson sent a replacement filter which did not resolve the problem. A replacement vacuum was the resolution. Seems to be very common with the v15.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Simple solution, unplug the battery and plug it back in. Apparently Dyson can't answer this simple question.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My Dyson v15 too, is giving the filter messages. Not even 1 use and the message returns, once reset.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just purchased the identical vacuum, used it for 2 minutes and get the very same message. Maybe we have lemons. Called dyson support, they pushed me back to best buy who didn't offer much help other than writing a message here....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am thinking of buying this vacuum but I had been hesitant because I read reviews with similar problems. People on Redit suggest: while emptying the bin, tap the main body on the garbage to remove the built up dust chunks inside the tubes on the top. (I do this often with my current Dyson V6 after it was recommended in a deep clean video I was watching. It’s surprising how much dust comes out.) Another suggestions which people had success with was using compressed air to blow stuck dust out the top tubes part on the main body.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there Jon, this is Tia from Dyson! Sorry for the troubles! Please ensure that you are emptying the bin as soon as the dirt reaches the level of the MAX mark. Should the dirt in the bin exceed the MAX mark, the excess dirt can be pulled directly into the filter causing a blockage. By following this tip, you should have a better experience! Thanks for choosing Dyson technology. Best wishes, Tia Dyson Customer Support
