That is very good question and I cannot answer it but I will say this that it's probably because Dyson is from Europe so they have their way of determining what to call the specific head that you read about versus how in America at Best Buy they would Define the Dyson v15 head. I hope this helps but again I did not do the research on it but this makes sense to me
