Hi Extender! Thank you for your question.All eeros are compatible with each other so the eero 6 extender will work with your existing system. You’ll need to open the eero app, tap the blue plus icon on the top right, then select “add an indoor eero” to get the eero 6 extender on your network. Be advided that this eero is not waterproof or water resistant and is not ideal for using outside. For this reason, we strongly recommend keeping this device inside. That said, by placing an eero closer to outdoor areas, you can get great coverage across your outdoor space. If you are unable to achieve the desired coverage, we recommend the eero Outdoor 7 instead. I hope this information helps. Have a great day!

Please try again later.Yes, this eero 6 extender will work with all other models of eero and, once it has been added to the network via the eero app, will broadcast the same wifi network as the other eero. This particular model is not intended for outdoor use. For outdoor use we recommend the eero Outdoor 7.
