A:AnswerHello Sandrine. Yes, the ET-8500 is compatible with Apple iOS 14. If you are having problems with AirPrint, you can also download the Epson Smart Panel App from the Apple App Store. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerGood day,
This is not a sublimation printer. I think I did read that there were 3rd partiy inks for that purpose, but I assume that will void the warranty.
A:AnswerHi ChromebookUser, Yes you can send prints to the EcoTank ET-8500 from your Chromebook via Wi-Fi. Epson printers support printing from Chromebooks with no software installation required. Simply connect your Epson printer via USB or Wi-Fi and you are ready to print. Regards, Dylan - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerHello DoubleDutch. We have not tested photo fabric on the ET-8500 to confirm compatibility. We recommend contacting the paper manufacturer to see if it works on our EcoTank printers using dye and pigment-based inks. For a list of compatible paper types, please see the User's Guide on our official Epson Support page. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerHello Mark. The ET-8500 can only print envelopes from the lower paper cassette. Since you have loaded the envelopes there, please ensure you are selecting the "Thick paper or Envelope" option from your extended settings on the computer. If the message continues to appear, please contact our Technical Support team by phone for additional assistance. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

If you plan to use 3rd party paper, we recommend trying a small batch first to ensure it works properly and has satisfactory image quality. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

Please note that your results can vary based on print settings, image size, paper type, etc. A new set of standard capacity T552 ink bottles can print approximately 6700 Black or 6200 Color ISO pages. A:AnswerI utilize a Linksys MESH and have intermittent, sometimes extremely frustrating, issues when printing from my Win11 HP Laptop. The funny thing is that I've never had an issue when printing from any of my apple devices which includes both iPhone's and iPad's. I'm still troubleshooting my issues as I had a similar issue w/ my old HP inkjet printer which was part of my reason for updating my printer. As far as the ET-8500 Tankless Printer, WE LOVE IT!
A:AnswerHello jackie. The EcoTank Photo ET-8500 is designed to print on compatible Epson photo paper and plain paper. Unfortunately, we have not tested vinyl paper on the machine, so your results will vary. We recommend contacting the vinyl manufacturer to confirm compatibility. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerHello OldGuyLarry. The ET-8500 can only print on No.10 size envelopes. Unfortunately, 6 3/4" envelopes are not supported to work with the machine. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
