QuestionIs this scanner compatible with a Samsung tablet ? I need a scanner that I can connect to my electronic log tablet in my semi to scan documents and email to brokers for each load deliver. Any suggestions?

- Answer Hi, It is possible. The ES-60W can be switched into direct Wi-Fi mode. In this mode you can connect your tablet directly to the scanner like it is a Wi-Fi network. While your tablet is connected to the scanner, it will not be connected to the Internet. Once you have finished your scans, you can disconnect from the scanner and reconnect to the Internet. Visit the Epson support site for the ES-60W for details. If you can accept lower quality, a simpler method would be to use the camera on your tablet to take photos of the documents. - Answer Hi RealBeat. The ES-60W is a document scanner. It scans 16-bit color at 1200 dpi so color photo scans are acceptable. But if your main use for a scanner is photos, consider one of Epson's Perfection Photo scanners. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.

- Answer You create the folder that the scans will be sent to when you scan them while it is connected to the computer via the printer's own wifi. Then find them on your computer so you can print them.

- Answer Yes. You just connect to the scanner's wifi and enter the password on the back of the scanner and you should be ready to scan

- Answer I believe 16 pages is way too thick for the scanner. https://epson.com/Support/Scanners/ES-Series/Epson-WorkForce-ES-60W/s/SPT_B11B253201 That website shows the operating systems that are supported. Don't see anything that an IPAD would run.

- Answer Hello KMH. You can use the ES-60W with a computer, smartphone, or tablet. Using a computer, you can scan to the cloud using the Epson Scan software and also save your files to a thumb drive. - Answer The scanner creates its own wifi network that you connect to with your phone. Then, the Epson app conects to the scanner wirelessly via that network. When you are finished scanning the document, you turn off the unit and you go back to your regular cellular data to upload the document. I use this in my semi truck to scan documents in exactly thr same way you describe and it works great.
