A:AnswerHi Sudhir, The Home Cinema 4010 is capable of 10-bit color HDR. See the Epson support site for compatible HDR devices. It upscales to achieve 4K. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerHi Americansoul, Avoid extreme moisture, heat or dust and it should not affect the projector to use it outdoors. If the Home Cinema 4010 is used in daylight the display will appear washed out and dim. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerHi, based on the dimensions of your room, you should be able to use a 100-inch screen if you allow between 118" - 248" of space between the Home Cinema 4010 projector and screen. To get the correct measure for the screen size please use the Projection Distance Calculators from our official website. Make sure to select Epson Home Cinema 4010 4K 3LCD. Regards, Bobby - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerHi Rod, The Epson Home Cinema 4010 has a standard HDMI port, but it does not have internal speakers, so you will need some way to route the sound using an A/V receiver or an HDMI audio splitter. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerHi mike, Yes , you can install the Epson Home Cinema 4010 projector using a ceiling mount. Depending on how you positioned the projector, you may need to change the projection mode so your images project correctly. Regards, Alexander - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerI just watched a hockey game on this with lights on and i had very little wash out at all. Obviously lights off is optimal but it is far brighter than my optoma uhd60 even though the optoma said it had a much higher lumen output. I think it is because of the color and the white lumens are the same and thus produces an overall brighter image.
A:AnswerYou can send HDMI to the projector and the sound through your SPDIF/TOS Link to your receiver, just be aware both of those formats only allow 5.1 surround sound and are not compatible with newer standards such as HD DTS and Dolby True HD/Atmos
A:AnswerHeat shouldn't be an issue unless you're planning to enclose it inside a box. I have mine on a shelf above the seating area. No noticeable heat, only notice the fan but its not that loud.
A:AnswerThis particular Epson projector (Home Cinema 4010) was designed more for a dedicated theater room.
Epson sells other projectors with more light capabilities that are designed specifically for outdoors.
I would look to those instead of the 4010.
A:AnswerThe projector has no onboard speakers and i dont think it has bluetooth either. This is built to work with a home theater receiver and speaker setup.
A:AnswerNo. It's not smart. It doesn't even come with Wifi features. It does however have an ethernet port for a wired cable. If you want to project to it wirelessly, get a MS Wireless display adapter. It will then connect using Miracast from your android or Windows PC (as long as they support it). The one I purchased may have a USB problem. I had to use an external power adapter to make it work for me. Just realize you won't get any SOUND from it.
A:AnswerEpson makes a universal mount that works. I have the one I purchased mounted upside down and hanging behind a big screen. Just make sure you have something sturdy to attach it to. The bracket really didn't leave too many options for mounting.
A:AnswerNo bluetooth, no wifi. But it does have two HDMI inputs but no audio out, and no speakers built in. You'd have to use an HDMI cable and passthrough the sound bar to make it work.
