Q: QuestionI want a camera i can set up towards my front door that can alert me when someone walks in. Personally I don’t want to be recording everything so if it doesn’t it’s fine, but i want an alert so i can quickly open app and start recording if necessary.

• A:Answer You can set it to alert you and IT WILL! If you have an sd card inserted it will also record that motion automatically if you have it set to do so. I love mine. I used it to monitor my mom when she was house/dog sitting for my daughter for a week. I was worried about her falling and not being able to call anyone for help. This worked great! You can even communicate verbally through the camera if needed. I’m buying another one! Oh and it has an alarm sounding feature that you can activate/set off via your phone using the app!
