A:Answer Unless what ever is draining your battery is throwing a code, it will not detect the issue. Look for the basics - 1) how old is your battery? If over 5 years replace it. 2) at night when dark look over car thoroughly to make sure no lights are left on (trunk, glove box, door, brake lights etc). 3) have your charging system checked - many parts stores will check your battery and charging system for free. 4) have a parasitic battery drain test done on your vehicle. This checks the drain on each circuit to pinpoint the circuit puling the most current from your battery.
