- Answer Hi there, Addie from FixMeStick here. Once the scan reaches step 3, your input is no longer needed! At this point you can leave the computer to scan for a few hours and come back to check on it. When the scan is complete, just click "Clean Computer" and the malware will be removed from your computer.
