Me too, I might add the initial answer may be correct, however in my case the unit won't power long enough to check or change settings, upon plugging the unit in it beeps, and goes off... Not 5 seconds before it powers off and pressing the power button yields no results.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have you tried changing the MODE to COOL rather than the default ECONomy? On power interruptions of any length, it defaults back to Econ adn that is anjnoying but it is becoming the norm. If the temperature is rather hot, it will run longer in Econ until it cools the area down, then it will shut off to save power. Keep in mind that this mode in a bedroom unit might cause sleep interruptions.
