It’s supposed to be up to 2000 sq feet i believe, but it’s not as effective if humidity is above 70%- 80%
Sorry, there was a problem. I empty mine 3 or 4 times a day (which tells me the dehumidifier is doing a really job), but I live in a very humid area close to large bodies of water and the house I live in was not properly caulked to block humidity from entering the house. However, I am dehumidifying 2500 square feet of living space and the main area I dehumidify is the finished basement. That works best for keeping the humidity level down throughout the house. I couldn't be sure which dehumidifier you are considering just from the picture, but I have a Frigidaire 70 pint dehumidifier and it works better than the one I used previously which was not a Frigidaire. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey there! Thank you for your inquiry. It can depend on the dampness level. A 70 pint dehumidifier with a wet dampness level is recommended for 700 square feet. A very damp or wet dampness level is recommended for 1000 square feet; while a slight or moderate dampness level is recommended for 1500 square feet. We hope this information was helpful to you. –Ciara
