“Am I just seeing things or is my new GE microwave Metallic Teal on top & the sides? It's pretty, but I don't see this color listed! The outside wrapping was Teal. It's, too, perfect for it to have faded onto the Microwave!”

• At first glance I thought I had received a turquoise microwave, then realized that it was a protective film that needed to be removed. It was so perfectly applied, it looked like it was the color of the microwave. It took me a moment to find where to lift the film from because it was on seamlessly.

The microwave case (top/sides) is stainless steel and matches the stainless steel on the front of the microwave. Many microwaves are now packed with a plastic film applied to the outside to prevent scratching during shipping. This is a static cling film that should peel off easily. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA
