“I am trying to find a microwave that will fit a 29.75" opening, but in my shopping I have found that most microwaves are 29.875" wide. The dimensions on this one are listed as 29.75" wide, but it says for a 30" opening. Is it really 29.75" wide? Thanks!”

They are not all the same width. Whoever made the cabinet opening in my house did not make it 30 inches wide. It is a little narrower and a standard 29 7/8 microwave is too wide. A 29 3/4 microwave is a very snug fit. I would double check the size of the opening. It should be 30 inches. Good luck.
