Double check the size of the microwave oven from the spec versus the dimension from the old oven. IF the old oven is 30" wide, the existing space should fit. I use the old frame from the retired frigidaire oven to hang the new GE Oven without drilling any new holes to the wall. However, I have to make a minor adjustment on the top supporting screws. Depend upon what kind of vent you have. The new GE has the fan to vent the air either inside (recirculating) of outside the house. The fan can be adjusted either blow vertical (if the vent pipe is on the top), or horizontal (if the vent pipe is behind the oven thru the wall). Hope this help.
