All dishwashers I have seen in the last 20 years have a 90 degree elbow under the dishwasher to allow the bottom of the dishwasher to be as low as possible to maximize dishwasher interior. As long as the elbow is pre-attached to the water line, it’s easy to install. The connection is near the front of the machine just like most.
