No, this washer does not "FILL" with water....even if you use the deep fill option. The fullest it ever gets is about 3/4 the way up the tub. I have tested it on each setting and it will not fill higher than that. I still recommend the washer. I had to get use to the idea of not putting more clothes in it than it can handle, but once I did, I love it!!! I had a front loader before this and I hated it. My clothes never smelled clean. I have a teenage boy and I could still smell him when I opened the front door. As long as I do not over fill this washer with clothes, everything smells very clean when done. I am guessing the people that say it "FILLS" have never opened it to realize that "FILLING" means only 3/4 full and not anywhere near the top.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Deep fill option is a joke, doesn’t change the water level or certainly not noticeable. Another reviewer mentioned that it only fills 2/3 and that is absolutely accurate. So in their efforts to limit water use, I have to do multiple loads or add water. Would never buy this washer again. Wish I had my washer. I literally add water from my sink to the washer so my clothes actually get sloshed around. For reference, I have four children and in my later 40s (that is code for I do a lot of laundry and spend a lot of time dealing with this annoying washer) Avoid at all costs!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NOOOOOO!! This is a piece of crap! And when you try to get GE’s help- they blow you off! It does NOT fill more than half way full! It will ruin your clothes! It does NOT get anything clean! DOOOOO NOOOOOOT BUUUY ANY GE “Water saver” washers!!! TRUST ME!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO! I absolutely hate this washer! I want to "see" the water level. But if I don't add 3 to 4 full buckets of water the water just saturates the clothes and you don't see the water line. To me this isn't getting the job done since the clothes aren't even beginning to swish in the water. This happens on all levels even on deep fill and it seems louder if I don't add the buckets of water. And no, I'm not overfilling the machine. Also, I don't like that it locks you out even when the load spins off balance. Maybe I just got a "bad" new one and don't know what to do about it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have had this washer for years Other reviewers are correct. Tub only fills 2/3 at its max. I also have add buckets of water to adequately clean a full load. So stupid that they think this is an energy and water saver. You end up doing more laundry as a result of the water deficiency. Would NEVER buy again. Totally regret it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I totally agree with Janet from 5 months ago and the mom from 8 months ago. I HATE this washing machine. I’ve had it for four years and hate it more with each one. If I don’t add buckets of water, clothes are above the water line and may even be dry. It’s just my husband and me so loads are not large.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No..only when you select DEEP FILL option
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. The max setting fills up about 2/3 with water. The "large" load fills about 1/2. "Medium" is about 1/4 and "small" is really small.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes liked this about the GE because you control amt. of water not machine. Most washers don't let you do this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES
