Large HE Maytag, a load of long sleeved shirts, sorted properly will come out tied in knots and in long ropes. I hate the new machines. Sometimes have to rinse twice even using proper soap pods. The old type machines need to be manufactured again!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES! Yes, they do!! We bought this washer from another store. We have had problems with clothes, especially sheets, twisting into long ropes since we bought it. They sent a technician out immediately, who tried saying I was using too much water. The machine chooses the setting, not me. He then found a problem and fixed it, but we don’t remember what it was. We then moved the washer to our new house after just 2 years of use, and it’s back to twisting everything. It automatically sets the water level, I wash a few sheets at a time on the lowest setting, and they twist. I’ve tried washing King size sheets on low, medium and high setting, and automatic setting, they are always knotted. But this is still hugely better than our Whirlpool washer we gave away that was only 5 years old.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Without fail, all sheets do. Unbelievably twisted into a complete long rope. The load is so unbalanced, we cannot wash sheets without remaining within ear shot of the washer. It will literally try to "walk through the wall". When you rush to stop it, you must wait till it stops and unlocks to access the load. We have washed one sheet, two sheets, three and four sheets on medium, full and super water settings. We have washed towels with them, undewear with them, pull over shirts, etc. A few, many, one sheet on bottom with these other clothes in between and without fail the washer tries to come through the wall. When you wait till it stops, it takes all the strength you can muster to slowly pull the sheet out a few feet at the time, untwisting it slowly till you reach the end. It is amazing just how tightly a sheet can get twisted in what you would think would be a random action environment. Not a single thread I've read in this and other on line queries has desuaded us from NEVER again purchasing a GE washer UNLESS THE WARRANTY WILL UNQUESTIONABLY REPLACE IT IMMEDIATELY if it ties sheets into these long twisted ropes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just had it happen with a small light l I ad on warm water. End of wash, it was thumping on the spin and when i opened it, the cloyhes were twisted and tied in knots and wrapped tight around the agitator. If it happens 2 more times, i will get rid of it. I have always had Kenmore washers. Never had such a problem! This is GE.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely hate my WP washer with impeller. It knots my carefully loaded sheets each time. The machine is not over loaded with 1 set of sheets either. I do deep water wash and regular and they both twist and knot my sheets.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, suffered with this problem for 2 years ever since I bought this GE washer. Tried every setting, etc. Finally found what works for me. Set it on Whites/Heavy. Have not tangled or twisted once! hope this works for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, new machines do NOT save water, need to add water, electric operation for over 1 hour. They consider these efficient. Only one making out is the manufacturer!
