Hi - This will occur when water becomes trapped in the fill nozzle (fill tube) at the top of the wash basket after the water shuts off after filling. Often the nozzle doesn't immediately drain all of the remaining water, so after some time (even a few hours later), the water tension holding in the water breaks and the last amount of water is released or spurted from the fill nozzle. It is similar to the small spurt or burst of water that sometimes comes out of a bathroom shower head or faucet after the water is turned off. This is normal. We're glad you checked. All our best! Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have now had two of these washers and (the original and the replacement) both have had problems. I have had so much trouble getting through to Best Buy service and getting the problems resolved. I would suggest trying to contact Best Buy to replace the washer now. After my experience, I wont be shopping with Best Buy any more.
