QuestionIs this propane convertible, and if so does it come with the conversion kit?

- Answer Hi there, Arod - Great question! Yes, all of our gas cooking appliances come ready to be connected to natural gas and also come with an LP conversion kit to connect to LP (Liquid Propane). - Answer Hi, Thanks for asking! We appreciate your interest in this model and we'd be happy to answer your question. If there is a power failure the oven will be inoperable and we do not recommend trying to use it. The surface burners can be lit manually if there is no electricity. You can find this information on page 7 in the User manual. - Answer Hi Tessy- We are excited to hear of your interest! Model JGBS60DEKBB has a lower Broiler Drawer. The overall height of the range is 46 1/4" (including the control panel). The height to cooking surface is 36" - 36 1/4". The oven is standard (manual) clean. The smooth oven surface makes cleaning by hand easier. QuestionCould you tell me the estimated time that this oven would preheat? My grandmother is saying that hers is taking almost 25 minutes from the moment she turns the oven on to when the beep says the oven is at the appropriate temperature? Is this normal?

QuestionIn my new JGBS60DEKWW a 10 inch or so metal rod protrudes straight out from the upper left oven wall. What is that? My old XL44 had something similar but was was flat against the oven wall. When is the gas on/off switch located within the oven?

- Answer Hi mom86, thanks for reaching out to us! We believe that the part you're describing is a Range Temperature Sensor. The part number that is connected to that part for your particular model is: WB20K10015. As for the gas valve, which control the on/off flow of gas, it is normally located in the rear of the range. QuestionIs it true that the flames on the burners cannot be adjusted? Our complaint is that none of the burners will adjust low enough to really simmer unless turned almost to the off position; then we have to be careful the flame does not go out completely.

- Answer First , i have adjusted them pretty low with good results. This model is unique in that it has a large , 2 medium and a small burner for simmer. I have had no issues with simmering. Especially with the small burner.

Our GE website can be used to view the various microwaves we have available, if necessary. We have several over-the-range models in white, such as JNM7196DKWW and JVM3160DFWW, that would match the look. If you prefer a countertop microwave, we also have various options of that type in white, like JES1657DMWW. We are confident one of those microwaves would be a good fit for your needs. It also saves money by using less gas than a standing pilot range (because this system has no standing pilot light, no gas is being used unless it is needed). We hope this answer suits you!
