Hello Luke - Congratulations on the new house. We are sorry to hear the dehumidifier is not draining properly. If water is not draining through the hose, check the following: Make sure you have a good connection where the garden hose attaches and that there is a rubber washer properly installed in the end of the garden hose. If the connection is loose, gently tighten the connection with pliers. If the hose is pushed into a drain (like a standpipe), make sure it is not pushed in too far. If the hose is touching water, it will not drain. Pull out the hose until the hose outlet is above the water line. Cut off any excess hose so that it is moving in a straight line to the drain. Avoid using an old or damaged garden hose. Clean dehumidifier drain and hose: If there is water in bucket, empty bucket. Unplug unit. Clean dehumidifier drain with a baby bottle brush or pipe cleaner (like used for kids crafts). Clean drain hose with the same. Make sure drain hose is routed downward. If the drain line is mounted at a steep angle downward less material will accumulate in hose and drain. Keep in touch! - JB
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have the garden hose connected I don’t understand why it’s staying in the tank . It should just be trickling out as it’s being pulled from the air . Is the hole clear ? Is the hose clear .. something simple is not right as it’s a very simple outflow system. Being non pumped it’s just gravity exit. If it’s not exiting then the problem is obstruction of some kind .. check from the unit first that the hole is wide open .. good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hose is not tight enough or sealed properly. There for the water is filling the container. Also, the water is gravity fed to floor drain, so any slight up hill areas in hose that could also make your problem happen. Read manufacture trouble shooting in manual it explain further. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure you have the hose connected properly and you don't have a hose control on/off switch in the closed position. If the unit drains through the hose to a drain properly then the unit should NOT fill up. If your unit fills up that means the hose connection is not installed properly and the water is not going to the hose and away from the unit! Good Luck!
