Yes - unit will turn off blower when the set temperature is reached - then automatically turn back on when above (i.e. warmer) the set temp. (Nice feature!)

My RV stays on, just the compressor goes on and off, irritating too, but at least you do not have noise then complete silence, then noise again. Does anyone make AC with an optional constant fan?
