I need bulb or only the plug null

Hi Mario. No bulb is needed. Once you download and register on the C by GE App then you can customize automations and scenes for your smart plug. - C by GE Support

If your turning a light on and off, you can go either way. I use the bulbs in lights and dim them at night, I also have plugs so I can turn my daughters wall light on and off and we have one on her playroom tv.

This plug works with Bluetooth. There is no bulb required. Load the C by Ge app on your phone or tablet and control via the app.
