We have had our All in One for over a year now. When we got this error code 353 we searched and could not find much information on it. We finally started looking at it ourselves and found that the filter screen was blocking the air movement. We had been cleaning out the filter after every wash but we noticed that if you held the micro filter part under the faucet the water had a hard time going trough it. We found that the fabric softener sheets were leaving oil in the micro filter screen and blocking air from going through over time. We took the filter and soaked it in hot water and dawn dish soap and then used an old toothbrush to clean it. After drying it off and putting it back together it solved our over heating (error 353 code) issue. We now do a deep cleaning on it every month to keep the oils from building up.

The 353 error code came up somewhere in the wash cycle as the clothes were still wet when I went to remove them. Now, I have to wait another 2 hours before I can put another load in. Provided I don’t get the error code again! We had an error code about two months ago-don’t remember what now. It resolved itself. I guess. Combo is less than a year old. The loads take about 2 hours each. The lint trap holder is so far back and so narrow that it’s impossible to get all the lint out. The long brush I have certainly doesn’t remove the lint even though it reaches the back of the machine. Some idiot decided that it’d be a great idea to put a hole in the back of the lint housing so the lint has a place to collect. Without a special tube on your vacuum cleaner, that lint is there to stay! The foam lint thing is yet another stupid idea! The foam is destined to have a short life! Certainly washing it in running water does not remove the lint. And wringing it out is likely to cause a lot of unnecessary wear and tear. After doing a recommended clean washer cycle, there was still lint embedded in the front drain area of the tub which I had to tease out. The clothes still feel damp after a dry cycle. Even when using “more dry”. I feel completely frustrated by this combo unit. I don’t know what the answer is because things just don’t work!

GE should have made the lint filter area bigger so people can go in and clean it properly. This machine is a failure so much maintenance is needed. How does a regular family use this thing? Mine got the error code 353 in 1 year once the warranty expired. Not buying another GE ever.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.turn your machine off, then press the start button (not the power button) for 10-15 seconds, an error code list will pop up on the screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.353 is Critical Compressor Discharge Overtemp. Also "NTC1 over heat continuously" It is saying the heat pumps compressor output temperature is too high (above 100C) for 3 times in one cycle. Could be because the unit is in a space that is too cold. The minimum room temperature for this machine is 60degF (15.5C) per the user manual. Did you try to operate the machine in a room that was too cold?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi - We are deeply sorry to hear about the difficulty you are having with your Profile UltraFast Combo unit. We do not have information available to share with you regarding the potential error codes that might be displayed on our appliances. If your unit is up-to-date with all over-the-air updates and if you have tried disconnecting power to the unit for 2-3 minutes and this issue persists, we recommend service. Our service team will be able to determine the reason for the error code and remedy that for you. Wishing you the best! Vikki@GEA
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.oh that code means that the washer is not function correctly. You can try turning it off and back on again but ultimately throwing your used washer away and buying a new one is the only fix.
