Having spent much time on this, and several phone calls to GE Appliances I can confirm that as of right now the SmartHQ app will not link to Google Home or Alexa for the combo unit. Because this is a new appliance, SmartHQ has not been configured to work with Alexa or Google Home yet. They are working on adding that functionality.

You will want to first make sure that your Smart HQ app is updated to the most current update. Once you do that then you will want to follow the steps to getting your Alexa set up. 1. First, ensure your smart appliance is Connected to your home network. 2. Open the Alexa App. 3. Go to Skills & Games and Search "SmartHQ" 4. Click on SmartHQ and click the ENABLE button. 5. Enter your GE Appliances Account username and password and hit "sign in." 6. Say "Discover Devices" to your Alexa device to link your account to Alexa.
