• Xe5 uses newer DDR5 Ram, Xe4 only supports DDR4

• Xe5 comes with ddr5, and yes 100% aluminium

• Hi Mike, The differences is also the XE5 will include a 3080Ti, additional Ram, and a i9 processor. Construction wise both models are identical and made from aluminum. Hope this helps! - John
