Q: QuestionWhat is the starage up grade options for this laptop. A youtuber said there is space for 2 (M.2 SSD slots) one has 512 installed and one 2.5 hhd space. Not sure if it was same model?

Q: QuestionEverywhere I looked the integrated graphics card (Intel UHD) showed up (using laptop screen). I wonder if the discrete graphics card is enabled. In BIOS (not 100% sure I found the place), very few options, none about enabling discrete graphics card. Help

• A:Answer I was looking for the Nvidia Control Panel to achieve this. Right-click the screen does not show it as I would expect. It turns out there is a "Show more options" at the bottom. Clicking on that menu brings out the Nvidia Control Panel, where one can switch the graphics card preference from "auto select" to the dedicated graphics card. This solved the problem - graphics performance from poor to good.

• A:Answer I would upgrade the laptop to 16gb before you try to game on it. It has only has one stick of 8gb ram in it. I upgraded the ram right way after getting it and I haven't had a problem with any games.

• A:Answer Yes. depends on your settings though. Runs cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p high settings just fine with dlss. Just dont use ray tracing though. Add an extra stick of 3200mhz ram if you want to game though.

• A:Answer The device comes with an NVMe/M2 SSD seemingly regardless of size (in this case 512GB), which, as you can see in this image (from NotebookCheck) is typically installed in the furthermost of the two NVMe slots available on the left. That being said, the 2.5" SSD is referred to as a "swappable bay" (black square-ish area to the right of the RAM) by Gigabyte's specifications because this area is typically left open with nothing installed from factory. It is simply present in case you wish to upgrade and install one. Hope this helps! - HWK
