• Yes. The SIM can be used for any of the plans except for purely data on tablets and computers. You only need to make a simple change on your Google Fi account page online.

• I am not sure about the plans you can purchase. However, I have found that the Google Fi doesn't work internationally and is spotty at best in the states.
