A:Answer Nest Cam (battery) is the first battery camera created at Google Nest, and is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, which features full on-device intelligence to detect pets, vehicles, people, and faces all without any cloud processing. It can accommodate up to 10 days of continuous video recording (CVR) and 24/7 video history if hardwired to power and subscribed to Nest Aware Plus ($12 a month for all of your cameras, speakers, and displays on the same home structure).
Nest Cam (wired) is designed for indoor use only, and with a Nest Aware subscription, you’ll get 30 days of event video history. With Nest Aware Plus, you’ll get 60 days and 10 days of 24/7 video history.
Both cameras have the same video quality up to 1080p at 30 frames/sec, High Dynamic Range (HDR), and H.264 encoding. Learn more about the technical specifications of Nest cameras here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9259110
