QuestionOnline it says that you can get the $400 off and then you can pay it off early but when I go to purchase it it you sign 2 contracts and I don't see anything about paying it off early or that it comes unlocked.

- Answer It is locked until you activate it, then it will be unlocked via Google within 24 hours. I assume the 2 contracts are the financing agreement through Best Buy and the Payment Plan through Verizon. It is not going to say anything about paying it off early, but you are able to very easily after you activate on Verizon go to your My Verizon account and you can pay it off.

- Answer When I purchased mine, I was told by the salesperson at Best Buy that the Pixel 3 they sell is unlocked. If that's true it should work with any SIM card.

QuestionI already have a Verizon contract. Does the discounted price for the Pixel 3 with Verizon applies for upgrading an existing line or is it limit to new lines / contracts. The offer is better than what's currently available at Verizon's shop.

- Answer Discounted price applies to existing plans. Verizon did charge $40 to upgrade phone but I kept my existing plan.

- Answer Yes it has stereo front facing speakers. As far as compatible accessories pretty much everything Android compatible will work. Just know that it does not have a headphone jack so you have to use the included dongle to use wired headphones.

- Answer All companies will give you a refurbished phone. I would ask before the purchase, not after. That is what happens with your trade-in phones, they are refurbished to like new and then used as warranty replacements. I do not know of any company that will replace with a new phone unless you are within the first 14 day period.

QuestionSo, I get almost all of the way through this purchase and in the fine print it says it will throttle my current unlimited plan back to a gig or two a month. Anyone else seeing this?

- Answer I don't see how or why this would be the case simply because of the device itself. The Pixel is no different from any other phone with a data connection. I do not have an unlimited plan, but have seen no change in my data or bill (other than the standard device fee) from Verizon since I purchased this phone 2 months ago. I would contact Verizon to confirm, but again I'd be very surprised. The fine print may have something to do with how "Unlimited" isn't really unlimited any more and most of the carriers will throttle your data if you are an extremely heavy user.

- Answer The Pixel 3's, if sold via a cellular reseller like Best Buy sell phones that are locked to Verizon for the first 24 hours. That means that it has to be registered to Verizon for a day before you could take it to another carrier. Allegedly, Verizon did this to help reduce theft from their stores. I'd recommend just getting one Directly from Google, as they sell Verizon version, or unlocked versions, and you can apply for 24 month 0% financing, which is the same as getting a verizon one.

- Answer Yes, you can. All pixel 3 are SIM UNLOCKED, which means you can use it with any carrier. The Verizon version just has the bootloader LOCKED which makes it harder to root. If you don't plan to root the phone then the Verizon version is essentially the same as the google store version.
