• The battery door is supposed to completely come off, even if you did break it they are easy to buy. Google GoPro hero 10 replacement parts.

• The battery door on the HERO10 Black is removable. It's designed that way so the HERO10 can be used with accessories like the Media Mod. You should see a slot in the hinge part of the door. Line that up with the metal bar on the HERO10 and it should snap back on.
