A:AnswerVoice commands are built into the camera. The easiest way to activate them is to connect the GoPro to your phone and change it in the settings. Otherwise, press and hold the square button on the camera until it powers on. Now press the menu (square) button again to get into the menus and toggle through the options to the voice command guy. He kind of looks like a little face w sound waves coming out of his mouth. Use the red button on top to select through the menus and change it to on. This will let you use voice commands like "GoPro take a photo"
A:AnswerIt’s super tough. I’ve used mine on my Revo my buddy has crashed his RC plane in to the ground with his and not a scratch. I use mine on my motorcycle many times. And all GoPro’s can work with POV cameras with the right adapters
A:AnswerThe battery life is relatively short ( 40 - 45 minutes ) but it will last longer than any drone flight you might be recording. The biggest advantage that this camera offers for this purpose is its very light weight and form factor. The mounts that you can get for it are very secure and you have numerous mounting options. I haven't noticed mine over heating but if you're using it attached to a drone it is going to be very well ventilated so I don't see that as being any concern. If you were to also purchase the remote control device, ( which has a range of up to 600 ft.) you could wait until it was airborne to turn it on thus increasing the actual usable video time.
A:AnswerI have used mine hand held at a concert but normally you will use it mounted to some time of mounting bracket. It doesn't have any zoom capability, it has a fixed lens. You can crop in during editing which will increase the relative size of objects.
A:AnswerYes it will do photos as well. Burst shots, time lapse. all kinds of photos can be taken with the Hero Session5, I use it a lot for all kinds of videos and photos.
A:AnswerHero 5 Session would be good. It’s small & light, & can mount anywhere & not be in the way. It also the smallest camera that offers 4K quality recording.
A:AnswerI've been using Gopro products for a few years now and just bought the Gopro Hero Session and the Gopro Hero Session 5, both great cameras. I would recommend using the Gopro head mount or the Gopro Chesty mount for horseback riding. Both would keep your hands free and wont have to worry about holding on to the camera while riding.
Hope this was helpful.
