A:AnswerThe HERO7 Silver uses wifi to connect to the GoPro app on your smartphone. Bluetooth is used to keep that wifi connection linked. For mics though, the GoPro doesn't support wireless mics using bluetooth or wifi. Also note that the HERO7 Silver does not support external mics. You'll want to look at the HERO7 Black or the HERO8 Black if you want to use an external mic.
