    • Answer The run time depends on the amount and density of the snow. Light, fluffy snow only a few inches deep will give a longer run time than heavy, wet snow or snow that's deeper. I've just come in from clearing my driveway of about 9" of heavy snow. The 4.0 AH battery lasted about 40 minutes. I also have a 2.0 AH battery which lasted about 10 minutes in this machine. I used both batteries today; on other occasions the 4.0 AH battery has lasted long enough for my driveway and the public sidewalk to both ends of my block! Hope this helps.

  • QuestionThis weighs too much to carry up stairs from cellar. Is the weight you give mostly because of the battery? Can the battery be removed so that battery and machine can be carried separately? If so what do they weigh individually?

    • Answer Hello Otter, Yes battery can be removed. It is recommend to remove the battery from the unit when not in use. Weight (Tool Only): 56.8lbs (25.8 kg); Battery Weight: 5.7 lbs (2.6 kg).

    • Answer Hello Fundy - Thank you for your question. Our 80V charger cannot be used with a 60V battery and vice versa. Greenworks manufactures a range of voltage platforms from 24V - 80V, each voltage platform has its own set of interchangeable tools and battery but are not interchangeable across different voltage platforms. Only Greenworks batteries, chargers and machines of the same voltage are compatible and interchangeable with one another.

If your unit becomes incapable of rotating to those degrees, ensure the unit is powered off and clear any snow built up inside the chute.     • Answer It throws snow about 10 ft with the discharge facing to the side and up at about a 60 degree angle. It is plenty. When you blow the driveway working one side to the other you’re not going to have any problem.
