• The HRBlock application whether you download a digital copy or use the discs - is independent of browser - it is its own packaged software with a custom user interface - the only exception is if you are using the HR Block free website version - then your browser becomes part of the user interface as you are not installing & launching their proprietary application software - this free version is a scaled down very basic tax system that is basically helping you to fill out the IRS & State tax forms - not the same as their packaged software that I have been using since it was introduced as "Tax Cut" back in the early 1990's.
